The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Try to stay strong - you're not on your own,,,you've got us [;)]
You can go BR on your own, the fee is £495, but you may get a reduction if you're on certain benefits I think. It's still worth you contacting some companies, try Melanie or David, just to make sure you're making the right choice. It won't cost you anything to discuss your options.
You can declare yourself BR. You can complete the forms online at www.insolvency.gov.uk, or you can ask your local court to send you the forms out. There is a fee of £495 to make yourself BR, but if you are on certain benefits you can get a reduction of £150.
I would also recommend contacting Paul Johns from Reviva, who posts on this site as an expert - his contact details are in the experts section. He will be able guide you through the BR procedure and is also a very nice man!
RE the creditors, dont let them make you cry hun, they have no right to upset you. If they do upset you tell them its illegal for them to cause undue stress. As soon as you mention Bankruptcy they will change their tune, they certainly did with me.
