i have beeen in my iva for 2 yrs, im falling behind on my payments, i live on my own in my council flat and im a community care worker, if i go bankrupt is there a chance i would loose my job and home ?

As long as you are paying the rent on the flat, you should be ok there.

I think your job will probably be ok as well, but perhaps check anonymously with your HR dept just to make sure?

Have you spoken to your IP to see if your payments can be lowered if you are struggling?

Kallis is correct - your job and home ought to be safe but do check the small print.

Why did you plump for an IVA in the first place as a matter of interest?
