Fair enough Jan, it does reinforce the need though, as we are all at pains to stress, to take more than one viewpoint on things before making a decision.
As for "hiding" £600, well, the less said about that the better quite frankly.

My thoughts exactly! The woman reckoned that we had too much in outgoings and needed to trim some back before they would allow us to look at an IVA.
Yes, we should have carried on trying, but I suppose having been turned down by two companies, and not having looked on the internet (which I should have done), we took the lifeline thrown at us, as do so many others. Fortunately, it has turned out ok for us.
If I had found this forum first, or done some research myself, I would have phoned a few more companies first!
