I want to do a IVA but don't want my girlfriend who I live with to be affected, or them to try and take money from her, what happens. I wont do it if it does.

Your girlfriend will not have to pay money across to your IVA. All she will have to do is prove that she pays towards the household expenses.

Unless you have any joint borrowings with her, her credit record will be ok. She can always take out a notice of disassociation with the CRA's just to make sure.
