Are you already with O2? If so, there shouldn't be any problems as they usually only check that your account has been run ok.
If you are swapping over from another network you may find you have problems as you will be credit checked and your IVA will still be on your credit record.

Your credit file will be a problem until six years from the start of your IVA.
As Jan ststes if you are just renewing an existing contract they are unlikely to credit check you
