I have just been sent some of our records back e.g. p60, wageslips etc from our IVA company and in this mail there was also some documents of another clients who has got an IVA. Is this a data protection breach? and what shall I do about this and the documents
We had this happen to us, we just phoned Payplan and told them, then returned the items to them.

I got another couple's passports when I had my documents sent back. I sent them back and was reimbursed postage. Made me lose a little faith in the company I had chosen to put forward my IVA - but IVA was accepted on 6th April - so they didn't make any mistakes there!
Anyone received a cashiers check (USA spelling!)payable to "who ever opens this envelope" for £100,000 - please return to me.[:)][:)][:)]

Ours were payslips belonging to a prison officer - I don't suppose he would be happy if he ever found out!
