hi,i have a situation,basically ive been on paternity leave for last 2 weeks and my iva payment is due on the 5th may and with everything happening at the moment i just know that i will not have the money to pay it.
i know that i cant have a payment break because paternity/maternity leave is not serious enough.does any one have any suggestions??thank you.

I am sure that your IP will allow one missed payment, providing you can see your way to making up the missed money over the next few months. Give them a ring and see if they can help you on Monday.

Iain, you don't know you can't have a payment break unless you ask. You have nothing to lose.

Could you pay anything towards the monthly payment?

I can't see any problem with this - just ring your IP and ask politely for one - you should not have any problem.
