Haven't been on the forum for a while but finally have been made Br and had the OR interview. Very professional and non-judgemental. I feel as if I have now got a future and much of the stress has gone. I am sleeping at last.
I was told by the court clerk that he thought that things were changing re publicity from April
From the horse's mouth, the OR -- but too late for me "We do not advertise in local papers anymore Only in the London Gazette and on the Insolvency register. Discretion is still there to advertise localy but usually when there are local financial interests an d creditors, probably local businesses

Different OR's offices have different policies on this. Both offices in South Wales are still advertising in local papers as a matter of course.

My insolvency practice (separate from ClearDebt) is now not advertising other than in a local rag the appointment of office holder only - there are new rules and it does depend on the circumstances of individual cases.
