Hi,

You will have to declare all of your debts if you are going bankrupt, and you will also have to tell the OR what the debts are from. If you don't, they will find out.

You may find that if some of your debts are due to gambling, that you will receive a BRO.

Have you sought help with your gambling? If so, and you can show the OR this, it will be a great help.

Hi T-H87 You really should inform who-ever is helping you with your account every thing it is very important that they know every little detail after all they are looking after your interest.

You have taken the first step and that alone takes courage, just be positive and good luck for the future...regards BP

Hi, I guess it would depend on the level of gambling debt, was this gambling recreational or more substantial? I think a BRO would be likely if were talking thousands.

I suppose it all depends as well as to whether the gambling is still going on.

Definately disclose all of your debts, and let the OR make up their own minds as to whether you are a credit risk in the future as a result of a gambling history.
