Hi All... Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same... My IVA was accepted 9 months ago and from then, there has been no creditor or debt recovery contact at all which is brilliant until three weeks ago where Westcot Recovery started with telephone calls and letters.. The debt has been with them along time before the IVA was accepted so I know they know the situation... On contacting them, they demanded a part payment to reduce the debt and have denied being informed about the IVA... I have sent Westcot Recovery all the information they require (recorded delivery, and it was delivered) thinking this would be the end of it, however the telephone calls continue and they deny receiving any information from me... Is this a ploy to squeeze money out of me... I have informed my IP who is dealing with this...
I haven't had this as far down the line as you, but certainly up to the 4 month point we had the odd doggedly determined call centre ringing us and denying knowledge of the IVA.
You have done the right thing in informing your IP who I am sure will get this resolved for you.
This seems to have been happening more and more just lately.
We had three letters from Robinson Way a couple of weeks ago demanding money from both of us for our joint loan and my credit card. I sent them an email telling them they couldn't do this, and I've heard nothing back.
I just sent the letters off to my IP for them to deal with.
I'm afraid I wouldn't be very polite with the phone calls - the second word would be 'off'.

Do it! They shouldn't be contacting you, and if they won't take no for an answer then let them have it both barrels![:D]
