I've just received my quarterly letter from GT, confirming that I've paid everything requested to date with regard to my IVA, I'm not owed any over payments and they have received everything requested to date.

I'm finishing the IVA early due to not being able to afford the payments after my little one is born (going form full time to part time), creditors have agreed to take everything up until 1st August as full and final payment, they have got the origianl dividend as I have worked hard for overtime etc and have achieved work related bonuses etc which has helped.

My question is, what happens now?,

I know that I should get some kind of paperwork to prove that the IVA is completed, is this the letter that I have just received or will I get some other kind of paperwork?

As GT have confirmed that everything has gone ok, will that make the process quicker for getting the paperwork sent to me to show that I've completed the IVA, or will they need to check everything through again to make sure that everything is ok?

Sorry for the confusing questions, only pregnancy fog is getting the better of me, I'm so happy that I've come this far, and just need some direction on what happens now......

GT will do the final paperwork and issue the final dividend cheques relatively quickly and issue you with your certificate of completion. It should not take too long as it appears everything is on file and creditors have agreed to the closure.

Keep your certificate to show any prospective creditors and the fact that you successfully completed your IVA can only be a help to you. Congratulations on your successful discharge but more importantly many congratulations on your pregnancy.

Thanks everyone, it's a HUGE relief to know that this is now behind me, I had modifications to my IVA refused at the variation, like keeping any overtime/bonuses and cutting the monthly payment in half, but I have managed to come through it thanks to the people and posts on this forum, I have discovered the joys of ebay from postive things said on this forum, and have managed to get nearly everything needed at a fraction of the retail price...

Everyone here is a real tower of strength in the darkest of times that everyone has that has taken the first step to sort out money problems.

I'll be popping back regularly to see if I can add to anyone's posts, but I'd really like to thank everyone for their kind words, and would like to say that I know GT get mixed reviews on here, but over the last 3.5 years I have had no problems at all with them, always have had professional service and fairly quick responses, I really can't fault their service.
