It is possible that your IVA can continue if you and your husband split. If it is a joint proposal and relations remain amicable, it shouldn't make any difference at all - the proposl would just continue on the terms as agreed at the creditors' meeting.
Problems may arise where the split results in only one person intending to continue making the contribution; if the contribution can't continue to be met, the proposal may need to be varied. There is also the issue that sole debts in your husband's name - if included in the IVA - would continue to be met from the fund that you are creating. All well and good if you're happy with this.
Better to make some initial enquiries with your IPs office - the proposal may have had some standard wording for the possibility of this event happening.
