But what's fair about everyone having to pay for their banking just so the banks can refund charges?

I agree that bank charges were too high in the past, but there has got to be some sort of penalty for an unauthorised overdraft otherwise we'd all do it!

I helped my best mate to reclaim her charges and was amazed at how much they charged for a simple admin process.

I sit on the fence a bit with this (not like me [:D]) I don't agree with the amount they charge bit do agree with charges if you go overdrawn.

Personally, I'm still glad the banks won. It certainly would have signalled the end of free banking and I would have been unfairly penalised.

I am still not bothered by this.

By the time I am out of my IVA, the bank charges will be pretty much spent as I believe it is only 6 years you can claim for.

I'm just thankful that I've been given a second chance.
