Hi all,

I've just read one of the posts earlier about bonuses.

I haven't worked my bonus into my payments as they are few and far between, also depending on how much work i complete the payemnts are always different!!!

I'm still at the stage of putting all my paperwork together, and will be sending all my wageslips to my IP.

Will this alter the amount pre-empted in my intial interview??[?]

Hi,

Your bonus should be completely seperate to your IVA proposal. What normally happens is that you would pay some of your bonus across when you get it, usually you keep the first 10% over and above your normal take home pay and then split the remainder 50/50. Depends upon your proposal.

Bonuses should not be included for the purposes of sorting out your IVA payments.

I agree with Jan, bonuses and overtime should be completely seperate from your proposal. It's dangerous to rely on bonuses and overtime as it can cause problems with an IVA as they aren't guaranteed.
