That's awful Paul! Barclays did a similar thing to me, which is why I'll be sticking with the Co-op!

Halifax did something similar to me a few years ago when I had got into trouble previously (never learn do I?). I was told to go into a branch to hand over my credit card.

A member of staff came out and proceeded to very loudly tell me off for not being able to pay the card.

I crawled out!

When I tried to open a Barclays account and was rejected the woman shouted across to her colleague 'She's been bankrupt and has been turned down for a basic account - is there anything else we can do for her?'

Talk about want the ground to open up! It's not like me not to complain, but in this case I didn't bother as I couldn't wait to get out!

I have to agree as I have that account and so long as they're or their associates are not one of your creditors they may be the right choice for you too x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
