Hi, my Partner & I both have IVA''s but we are wanting to get married or certainly live together. We both have mortgages but my Partner would probably come to live with me as my children live with me & also he has next to no equity in his property whereas I have a reasonable amount in mine. what is the best way for us to proceed without it costing us any more money. We both feel as though we are struggling as it is

Hi Susan and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage firstly. I would certainly talk directly to your IPs and let them guide the way, with only one lot of mortgage and utility bills to pay you may find you both have more disposable income. Do you have different IP's?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Is either of the two properties a better rental prospect if you decided to hang on to them, and is your partner's property suitable for the children?
