Hi All

I read this forum everyday but feel guilty that i dont post so often, so i thought i would give you all an update on my circumstances so far, and welcome any comments you might have.

My IP is just collating all my figures ready for a proposal. My situation is a bit compliocated i think as i have no equity in my house (phew), but my wife goes on maternity leave at xmas, and then wont be returning to work at all after the 33 weks maternity leave.
So my proposal has to take into account 2 full wages until the end of the year, mine and maternity wage for 39 weeks, and then just mine after that.
As i owe about 56k, i have approx figure oif £500ish per month at first so can only assume that by the time my wife finishes work my payments will have to halve at least.
I am waiting to hear whether an IVA is still right, as if the contributions are too low, the answer might be NO at the variation meeting in a year.
Bankruptcy could be on the cards, which i dont mind, but isnt my first choice.
So there you go, all about me in a nutshell.
Just wanted to say how good this site is, how helpful the posts are and how great my IP is too.

Hi Andy, its always good to hear from members, even if they don't get chance to post very often.

Glad to read you are finding a lot of support here and in good spirits about the IVA process, even if it may turn out you take a different route - this is the benefit of having a good thorough IP to ensure you don't commit yourselves to something that might not ultimately be in your best interest.

Best wishes,
