I work full time & if I enter into an ivf I would like to know if my employer need be advised ... also since part of my debt is credit card debt to the bank where my salary is paid I would like to know if an ivf action will affect my current account (asSide from the obvious dd of my overdraft)
Hi and welcome to the forum,If you do enter an IVA you would need a new bank account not with any of your creditors. It is often easier to open this before you enter the IVA as some people have had problems opening one afterwards. A lot of people on here use the Co-Op cashminder account or the Nat West Step accounts. You would need to make sure your wages are paid into this new account and not your old one.
Your boss wouldn't need to know unless it is in your contract of employment regarding financial problems.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine
I would check your contract of employment, or make an anonymous call to your HR to see how it might affect you.
I would seek some professional advice. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring. The advice is free and impartial.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
