Hi Keith,

Well done on finishing your IVA. To be honest your credit history is shot for 6 years in total so it would be very doubtful if you would pass the credit check.

Could you maybe ask a family member to take out the finance for you or alternatively wait until your credit history is cleared up.

You could try Dunctons as they do car deals for those with a less than perfect credit history. You need a deposit though and the APR is quite high.

hi andrea thanx for that advice I was like you when I first started mine but gradually you think about it less from week to week and then suddenly its over.its taught me how to control my finances no credit ,no overdraft, nothing but if you really get to grips with it its suprising what you can acheive, ill never have a credit card again or an overdraft thats for sure, but i need a car and have never had a brand new one so as a treat for all the thrift over the past few years i think i can afford this for once, i might just save, save, save until ive got enough money that way totally debt free

well done on reaching the end of your journey. I really hope you managed to sort this out. I think I too would prefer to just save and save until there is enough. Hate the thought of any credit again
