thanks for the feed back sorry im in scotland and i think their called trust deeds up here anyway its finally finished but whats the difference between an iva and trust deed if any?

It's just the Scottish version, but they don't run for as long I don't think.

There are many differences Keith including the time for repayment, how a property is dealt with, the voting criteria and creditor attitude. The net effect is the same - creditor forgiveness at the end of the term, regardless of the dividend returned - which tend to be lower in Scotland than in the rest of the UK.
