However, because I have conformed to the terms of an equity release modification whereby I had to obtain offers of remortgage, I have been advised by my IP to maintain payments and obtain third party funds to cover 2000GBP which a remortage would net. I am quite relieved at that actually. It means that I will be out of Debt in April 2011. Thanks to all for advise and help

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
