Bank account for young daughter ?

Hey does anyone know if we can open a bank account for our 5 year old daughter if we are currently in an IVA.

There is no reason why not. You can put in any money she gets for birthdays etc and you can contribute from your share of overtime and bonuses. Not sure how credit referencing works in things like this but your own bank should help or perhaps a small building society.

check a comparasion site - it will give an idea whats around - Oh dont forget to submit a tax exemption form for her - or she will get taxed on any interest

Isa's for kids are due in the autumn,dont have anymore details though.

BofS offer about 6% on children account - can be a little restrictive - but worth a look
