can i sell my house if i have an iva and do i have to tell my creditors how much equity i have in the property

Your house will have a restriction on I would think and your IP would be notified if you tried to sell, therefore you would have to tell your IP and I'm sure they'd know how much equity was in the property. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Totally agree.

You could not sell without their permission and they would know exactly what you sold it for.

If you agreed to an equity clause when you signed your proposal you do have to abide by this now and the IP will know how much equity is in your property. Have a chat to your IP to work out exactly how much equity creditors are entitled to if you get the asking price.
