Personal license to run a pub on DMP or IVA ?

can you hold a personal license to run a pub if on a debt management plan or go IVA, only the owner want verification of this thanx

Hi Mary, hope I can help.

I work in the industry and have proposed IVAs for publicans in the past. I'm fairly certain that you can continue to hold a personal licence while in an IVA, as opposed to a premises licence, which you could not hold.

Hopefully a forum expert can verify this.

I hold a personal licence for tesco, no issues with my iva status, they didn't check.

There is no problem in having a personal license when you are in an IVA, but you cannot act as a designated supervisor.
