Hi everyone, and thanks again for all your support. I just wanted to let you know the hearing went ahead last week and HMRC agreed to a two month adjournment for the preparation of an IVA. A huge relief! I'm just hoping they'll agree to the final proposal, but as it's around 66 pence in the pound I hear it's looking healthy.

Glad to hear that Simon - did you find someone to attend the hearing with you eventually?

Thanks Melanie. In the end I went on my own, which was a little overwhelming at first. I did manage to speak to an IP first though. The registrar was awesome though, and we spent most of the time there just chatting about random stuff. It was an eleventh hour thing though. HMRC sent the fax about the adjournment only the afternoon before the hearing, so it was a nail-biting period!

Just caught up with this - glad you got sorted Simon and hope the IVA goes through quickly.

Very glad that HM Revenue and Customs agreed to the adjournment; I thought they would, but you never know!! Best of luck with the IVA Simon.

Well done - and press ahead now with that IVA proposal in good time to avoid any further last minute panics.

Look forward to hearing about the outcome soon.
