I should be getting close to respectability. I completed my IVA last October as you all know, and had got all my debts marked as satisfied.
But then, a company called Arrow Global, who have obviously bought a debt off one of my former mail order creditors, have actually had the gall to register the debt now with Equifax. I can tell from the amount and the default date that it is one that was part of my IVA - all my debts were - and I don't have any mail order accounts right now!
I think I am right in assuming that the debts being six years old will drop off the report in autumn this year anyway, but the fact is, this debt should be marked as satisfied.
Arrow have had my IVA documents faxed a week ago, heard nothing as yet, I have raised a dispute with Equifax also.
I am seriously spitting feathers here as my credit rating has tanked from fair to poor as a result of this.
If I remember correctly, a member on here did a very scarey letter to put the wind up these asses. I do not want them sending their goons to collect a debt to which they are not entitled!
Oh Ginny that's just wrong!, I would be furious if I was in your shoes, I don't know what the answer is to get this sorted for you but someone on here will, chin up chuck, you have done your time and will have the last laugh, more fool Arrow for buying a debt they can't collect on!
