The unsecured element of a Northern Rock loan MUST be included into the IVA, even if the person who is jointly liable is going to meet the ongoing payments. On what basis has the firm advising you told you that they would seek to exclude this loan?

I finally spoke to the firm yesterday and they admitted they had got it wrong. We have since taken further advice and decided upon another company recommended by many people. Feeling slightly better but still very nervous. Have to tell the first company today that we have decided against them,, ring our possible new bank to see if we have been accepted for a basic account and hopefully then we can get the ball rolling. Thanks everyone for all your advice. Heopefully we are on step one now of the iva ladder
