Do I need audited accounts to get an IVA?

I'm a sole proprietor do i need audited accounts to get an iva? I've always just done the self assessments.

Hi,I'm not sure of the answer to this one but if you hang around we do have self-employed posters. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Doodles, speak to any of the experts who post on here, or visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. They will probably need to see accounts.

No - you will not need to have audited accounts, and copies of your previous tax returns should suffice so long as they provide details of your business income and expenditure. It is important that you are up to date with your tax affairs if HMRC are a creditor.
