Can anyone help me, when the IVA is complete and a C of C has been received is the restriction on selling your house automatically removed or is there something I need to do

Your IP should inform the land register - at the same time as issuing the Completion Cert

As far as I am aware the IP should apply to havve the restriction lifted as it was they that had it put on in the first place. Suppose like most things it will vary slightly from one company to another but I doubt we could apply or people would do igt all the time even when in an IVA!. Congratulations on finishing the process.

The IP does it as soon as all the loose ends are tied up and the completion letter is sent out.

Same with the Insolvency Register as well - the IP informs them and they take your name off there.
