My IVA is due to finish in May, 5 payments left, its been a hard struggle with redundancy and last July I suffered a stroke which resulted in 5 months off work and only now being phased back to work as a support worker My payments are £300 per month plus £60 arrears to cover when payments were reduced due to short time /redundancy etc so 5 payments of £360 are left to pay My family have help with keeping up the payments buT they never knew that i entered an IVA and in so much debt Xmas has been hard and its really a case of living off beans/toast every meal My question is my family have offered to put forward a FFS or is it better to with their help to keep paying the monthly £360 until May reading that a FFS can take a while and its becoming very hard to get hold of my supervisor at the moment Thankfully ive slowly recovered from the stroke but the stress of not working full time and having to rely on the family each month is becoming very stressful Thanks in advance
