dont even start me on the CSA they are the scum of the universe. My husband paid £400 plus a month to the CSA for 17 years for two daughters, one of who was married at 17 (after he had been paying for 7 years) and nothing was ever picked up about that even though we advised them on numerous occasions, along with the fact that his ex wife childminded for cash and claimed benefits, again requests to investigate were ignored. Then to cap it all off in 2006 when his youngest daugther was 18 and finished full time education bang a letter from the good old CSA telling him that they had incorrectly calculated his payments for 10 years and he owed £36K and how would he like to pay by cheque? This is part of the reason why we are in such a mess now and in IVA, whilst his ex wife remarried continues even now to get the arrears each month and will do for another 4 years - CSA - they should be strung up
