im nearly at the final stage of starting my IVA iv kept all my creditors informed of what is happening but today i had a call from a man working for one of my creditors. he said i had to pay the outstanding balance at once as there was a warrant order being processed for bailiffs to come to my home. i told them i had kept the company informed of what was happening. but still he said this was happening and was doing what he was told to do. i panicked and payed the £120. i could not get in touch with my advisers as it was closed. im now panicking about ringing them tomorrow to tell them in case they say they cant do anything.

They wont be able to do much about what you have paid but dont be forced into even opening the door if anyone else calls!! Let your iva firm know tomorrow but dont worry about it,its only an issue as you have paid them when you really didnt need to.

If you have paid the £120, then at least you have kept one wolf away from the door - but please tell them to get a hurry on with your proposals.
