As many of you know I settled my IVA with a f&f late last year, I have my certifcate and have come off the register.

Today I got a call from Ideal Debt Solutions apologising that they had rejected my IVA proposal and would I like to try again ???? When I politely explained I had never heard of their company and have never applied for an IVA with them, she very nicely told me I was wrong and her computer showed that I had completed all the paperwork but they had decided they couldn't take it forward for me.

I again told her she and her computer were wrong but she wouldnt have it and asked how I was managing my debt and could they try again to get me an IVA !

Very strange conversation !
all done now :-)

Does seem a bit odd that!!!!

I have heard of the company but don't know much about them. No idea where she had your details from.

Make sure not to give them any details and ask them to remove you from their database or you will complain to the regulator.

When you were first researching IVA's did you fill in any online enquiry forms ? I did with CCCS and get the ocassional email asking me if I am ready to proceed -- I am sure they will give up before I do !
