Well, I have just rung Sky to give my notice on broadband and phone/line rental as I found it £5 a month cheaper and the nice lady on the other end of the phone has just saved me £17.75 a month for 9 months! This means my phone and broadband will only be costing me £2 a month for the next 9......think they are desperate to keep customers!

Do I need to let my IP know? My review isn't until November!

That's excellent news!!

Technically you should let your IP know but I think you'll be safe until your next review.

They must have a campaign on or something, we recently switched our broadband and landline from BT to Sky and saved a fortune[:)]

Can't be bothered with the hassle. As I have everything with Sky it works out much cheaper than the others and we don't have cable.

Stewpots, it was a company called primus although BT and tesco have offers on at the minute too. Sky didn't actually ask who was cheaper, they just came up with this offer! I do find most of the time if you ring and say you are leaving they usually come up with something, you do have to go through to the cancellations team though. X

Red we always do that...we phone sky up every now and then saying Virgin have been in the area and can offer us exactly the same deal but a lot cheaper...they are desperate to keep their customers so matchthe deal! Best thing is we cant even get Virgin in our area!! [;)] x

We can't get Virgin in our area either, last time we phoned Sky though, they wouldn't offer us anything, I guess that's because we only have the basic package anyway so they're not so keen to try and keep us!

I'm happy with them at the minute as we've no alternative apart from freeview. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
