I have received a R40 form from HMRC which entitles me to claim tax back on savings & investments, also income tax. Well definitely do not have any savings or investments!!! so I am wondering if anyone else has received one because as far as I am aware I have had the correct income tax code.

Does anyone know about these forms??

Hi
An R40 is to reclaim tax that has been deducted by the banks on the interest on your savings, normally it is sent out to non tax payers and possibly pensioners. If you work and pay tax through PAYE then this is not applicable..
