hi willow, my daughter also 15 wanted to open a bank account whereby she had a cashpoint card and a debit card if possible, we went to barclay as they do this type of account for her age group, and she was accepted for an account that comes with a full visa debit card! despite barclays being one of my creditors.

IVA accepted 6th May 2011, Full and Final accepted 17th April 2012.

There should be no problems - daughter opened one with HSBC who were a pain as a creditor and she had no problems.

My daughter is with Natwest since I joined my IVA and my son recently transferred to them. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
