I've been in an IVA for just over 2 years and recently convinced a family member to lend me enough to get a full and final settlement. I wrote to my IP in March to ask for advice on the way forward - no reply. I wrote again in May and made an offer and asked them to get a move on. In June I eventually got a letter asking me to send property valuation, mortgage figure etc - this I did within a week and they received them on 21st June. They returned my paperwork on 6th July with a complimentary slip - no update, no comment, no letter.
I've reminded them today that I'm alive and waiting to hear from them, and been advised that they will try and look at my file early next week.
Is this sort of delay and lack of service normal? All I want to do is pay them a lump sum and move on.
