Thanks for all the advise over the last year or so, 68 months done, the end came in May and now debt free but due to the PPI trail I still await my C O C. I have the letter from my company telling me all proposals were accepted and the paper work was going of to the courts but can I use this letter to reset my credit score and how do I do that if I can.

Its not so much a re-set as a wait till things are clear and start again small. You can check your files with equifax, experian and call credit to ensure that none have marked defaults on your files after the date the IVA was approved. You can also ensure that accounts are marked with a zero balance and satisfied or settled. 6 years from the date the IVA started it should drop off the files and any associated defaults,up until that point what you do wont matter too much but you could look to apply for a vanquis credit card to help rebuild your rating(horrendous APR but use a small amount each month then repay the balance in full and you will start to see some green ticks on your files).
It can be a slow and long process to rebuild your rating,so good luck and well done for completing the IVA.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
