Hello Everyone

My mother and father live with me and Husband . They are both not working, But have very high debt over £60,000 debt they have state pensions coming in but this is no value at all . The outgoings they have are so much more. So they have decided to go bankrupt. M e and Husband are wanting to buy house in the next couple of years and we are concerned that them going bankrupt at our rented adress will afect our chances of getting a mortgage. Will this happen r will we be ok. Kind regards. x

Hi and welcome.

Your credit rating should be fine as long as you have no joint debts with your parents.
