I can understand them being busy - we all are at the moment - but there does need to be some room left for urgent cases I would have thought. Or maybe they should stop taking new cases on for a bit until things have settled a little.

I doubt if that will happen! How bad would it look if one of the creditors 'pet providers' stopped taking on new clients?

More likely existing clients will be penalised.

The problem here is, basically, greed (for fees or marketplace ranking I know not). But the general modus operandii of large companies these days seems to be all sweetness and light in grooming new clients, when all is done at breakneck speed and they actually talk to you. Then they ignore you as much as possible, once you have had your IVA accepted -- you are trapped, you can go nowhere and they don't care.

Unfortunately this brush also tars those in the industry who actually DO care.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I totally agree, Payplan were great with me until I was already in the IVA then that's when they stopped taking notice ignoring emails etc. I just hope I can manage to make my 3 payments while I wait for my full final offer to go through. The man on the phone I spoke to just wouldn't budge on timescales though.

fingers crossed for you it works out :)

Customer care as we all know should be important throughout the duration of the IVA and not cease once the creditors accept the proposal.

Fingers crossed here for you too.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
