You were lucky Skip. I know a lot of posters have had problems in the past with Sky.

Unfortunately I have the choice of BT (who are rubbish and who I left a couple of years ago) or Talk Talk who I wouldn't touch with a ten foot barge pole!!

Thankfully Sky are brilliant for us.

Talk Talk are appalling!

We'd asked a few times for Sky to do something so it's worth persevering. I really wanted the newer box as ours was playing up and the hard drive was too small so I kept on at hubby to keep ringing them!

We had horrendous problems with talk talk, the broadband was rubbish and kept going off every 10-20 seconds, I put up with that for 18 months then we changed to sky, we had a few problems with the bill initially as the deal sky offered us over the phone ended up much more expensive when they took the direct debit out and they then denied ever offering us the deal it took a few months to sort out but they backed down in the end

I'm ok with Sky for now but I never say never so I may defect somewhere one day x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

TV wise I have no option other than BT or Talk Talk and they can both get lost.

we seem to alternate between Sky and Virgin, when I got annoyed with Virgin a couple of years ago as they wouldn't send me a free wireless router that they give new customers even though I had been with them for 12 years, (they offered it me once I told them I was leaving, I still left on principle LOL). I moved to Sky. When they annoy me I will move back to Virgin,... these days loyalty means nothing.

We considered changing to Virgin but couldn't bring ourselves to do it - we both worked for them when they were Telewest and after the way they treated us I'd rather have no TV than change to Virgin!
