When year 6 is finished do financial records get automatically deleted from equitax & experian ?

When year 6 is finished and IVA has was paid off after year 5 do the financial records get automatically deleted from equifax / experian etc or do they stay on record?

I found that my IVA dropped off at the 6 year mark from both experian and equifax, however Callcredit were still showing it so I had to raise a dispute.

7 years after starting an IVA I finally received a completion certificate from ClearDebt

I've heard that sometimes you have to send a copy of your completion certificate as it's not done automatically.

Yes they removed it within a couple of days

Equifax will automatically move the IVA to a notice of correction so you will need to get that removed.
