Can I have car insurance and running costs included in my monthly expenditure ?

I have been in an I v a for 2 years for my birthday my parents want to buy me a car if they were to do so can I have my insurance payments and running costs included into my monthly expenditure ?

Do you need the car for work etc? I guess if this would be replacing current travelling costs then I don't see why your ip would have a problem, I guess it would only be difficult to add in new expenditure if it was going to reduce your iva payment, although if having a car was now a necessity then your Ip should be able to sort this out for you

If essential to get you to work and back, and your IVA is able to cntinue at the level it wasset then i don't see why not...however your IP will provide you with specific case advice

As others say have a chat with your IP they're best place to give case specific advice x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi

If it will not impact on your IVA payments then I can't see any problems, so as long as the cost of petrol, insurance, road tax and repairs etc are no more than your current travel costs. If they will be you need to chat these increased costs through with your IP
