Hi all, Im having a nightmare trying to get a valuation in writing , plus two re morgage offers... not that Im holding out much hope. Ive had two estate agents around and two no's on the internet as the product im looking for is not available. Im trying to remorgage for the equity release clause I owe 99k, the house is valued at 20k, and im asking for a remorgage of another 15k ....any help please would be greeatly appreciated

are those figures right your house is only worth £20,000?.
you only have to get a remortgage if you have equity.your proposal should state what happens if there is none.if you having trouble getting written quotes inform your ip and let them pay for one or use zoopla as a estimate.

I`m surprised that IPs insist on written valuations, I can imagine it being difficult. Our original Proposal contained a figure from Zoopla. Why can`t this suffice at the equity stage? Inconsistent
