after only 3 months in my IVA when it looked like life was getting better my husband was made redundant today with no redundancy package. I phoned Melanie`s office (my IP) and the support and reassurance I received made me realize once again the importance of choosing the rigth IVA company and I am so glad I asked Melanie to represent us.
Thank You so much Melanie.

I was shocked to hear the news lulu123, but know that hubby will do his best to find something else as soon as he can. Don't worry about the IVA for now, and call either myself or Nicola if you need anything or just to update us every month.

He will need your support right now, and should not be worrying about dealing with debts which, for now, are well contained and under control.

You chose your IP well and now the IVA is in place you are protected as Melanie says. Hopefully your husband finds work soon and the IVA can continue on.

Thanks Melanie, hubby is very sad about it and I am very worried about how things will progress but he will do his best to find another job asap because the last thing that we want is for our IVA to fail. Thanks again for all your support, it means a lot to us.

As they say in the song "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". You are an immensely strong couple, with a hard working ethic, and your hubby would be a credit to any employer. This is bound to be regognised in his future job applications, and I send you both my very good wishes and best of luck in the search.

Sorry to hear about your husbands job ....hopefully something will come through quickly ....you never know someone on the forum may well know of something....why not go onto the friends section and post a little more detail on what he is looking for and where roughly in the country you are ....forum members will then be able to let you know....you will see a similar thread on there that I started last week. Good luck x

You are in the best hands Lulu, good luck hope your hubby finds something soon.

Melanie that is a brilliant song, i have seen it put to many videos that make you want to cry, lovely words too and very true.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
