Just interested to find out what happens to an IVA when an IP leaves a company. Does the IVA go with the IP or remain with the company. Also what would happen if an IVA provider suddenly found them selves with out an IP?

It really depends if the IVA agreement itself provides for any successiomn in the event of an IP leaving or retiring. It is usual for a replacement IP to be used within the same firm, and the issue of a firm finding themselves without an IP is not relevant, as IVAs belong to the IP personally and not the firms they work for - so technically the case would move with the IP.
