have been having numerous problems with the company assigned to deal with our supposed ppi claims for me & my partner. The initial visit to our home the person turned up an hour early & it was very long & felt as if the person was never going to leave our house. The second visit the adviser turned up without an appointment & was waiting outside our house when I got home from work because he had forgot to get us to sign all the forms needed!this was last December then we had a call to say we needed to resign the documents as the companies were saying the signatures didn't match. They made an appointment to come to the house again & didn't show up! then they did the same thing last week for the second time! I told them that they were not getting another home visit & to send anything that needs signing in the post. When I received the documents I was amazed to see they had included a loan in my name which was my partners not mine! and 3 accounts in my name claiming for ppi from co-op bank which we have basic bank accounts ? when i read more inside it said stuff like i had paid for the ppi upfront in a lump some whatever that's meant to mean? I rang the company & they said don't worry about any of that just sign it all & send it back to us thanks.....
maybe this is all normal for ppi forms but it feels a
strange.
Yours is not an unusual tale Barbie. What a run around you are getting. Maybe better putting issues down in writing to them so you have a recorded response rather than a verbal,"oh dont worry about that".

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
I`ve read a few similar posts about this hard sell approach. It is completely over the top in my view and an unnecessary invasion of privacy.
As if an IVA journey isn`t challenging enough.
My IP used EIF and they were totally arms length, and OK as long as you didn`t mind filling the same form in 12 times.

Yes it has been pretty frustrating with the amount of times they have made appointments and not turned up & even the ones when they have shown up have been equally annoying.I just hope now we have been firm with them & said enough is enough with the home visits & from now on they have to send us anything to sign then things may flow easier. We shall see fingers crossed.
Have you reported this back to your IP firm Barbie? If they have insisted that you use this particular firm, then they ought to know when the service being provided is not at an acceptable standard. Which IP firm are you with?
They seem to be making claims against every account, the process seems very prolonged and it must drive you mad. Repost back to your IP and see what they have to say
