Hi, my husband and i are currently nearly two years into an iva and are paying more than originally agreed every month due to two payrises. Our boiler has broken and we may need to ask for a payment holiday of sorts in order to pay for it. Will the extra money we have been paying go towards this payment break or not?

Hi ... no it won't. It has already been allocated to increase the dividend to the creditors. Any break now will need to be made up in the normal manner.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Have you received a quotation for the cost of the new boiler lilianne75, and do you have the ability to take a payment break under the terms of your own IVAs?
