Hi just wanted to say to those currently on a IVA and thinking its a long road, it does get better and looking back it went really quickly. I completed a year ago now and in a strange way am glad I did an IVA as its taught me how to manage money, the only credit I have (apart from mortgage) is one card which is paid in full each month and I've only got this as I want to get a good credit file but each month when I buy things it's so pleasing to know I have paid for it and I don't have to find the money from somewhere. Things can seems tough through an IVA but when I hear things like I'll use my bonus to pay my card off it makes me smile knowing my bonus will be spend on me/family.
For those struggling please hang in there.

Great post and I agree with it wholeheartedly...I completed in January, completion certificate in early april and got a card same month from Vanquis, used each month for one purchase and paid off in full each month.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
