Hi,

Would just like a bit of advice on the above please.

I am currently 2 and a half years into an IVA with what appears from this forum to be a nightmare of a company, GT!!! Although so far I have had hardly any issues with, although they have used the previous years I&E for this year, doh!

Anyway, EIC (eek) are currently looking at a PPI claim. So far £1991 has been received and the other day I received an offer from RBS for £8571. There are still a few more companies that may pay out on PPI (that I never requested or required!). Would I be able to make an F&F whilst the PPI is still being looked at? I am able to get some funds from a family member and just want rid of the IVA so I can move on. If I made an offer which was accepted, what would happen to any other monies that may be paid out in PPI?

Sorry to go on a bit and I would really appreciate your views. Like I said, I just want to get rid of the IVA

Yes you can. The offer would not preclude GT from continuing to recover any financial irregularity claims which would go to further enhance the return to creditors.

Hi Jules64,

Any monies recovered after acceptance of a full and final offer would still go into your IVA, but this does not prevent you from proposing an offer in settlement of your IVA.
